Nose
Great old-school sherry notes and old-bottle notes. After a short time wonderfully juicy oranges with strong honey coating. The longer it stays in the glass, the more this fragrance transforms into an aroma, which reminds me of the essential oils, which are often given in the run-up to hot water - here just "winter orange". Really nice and super enjoyable. The oak remains discreetly in the background, no miss notes.
Taste
Mild and pleasant, from the beginning sweet, downright tasty and fruity. Unfortunately, he lacks a body here, which is not quite as dense and deep as in the nose. So the Royal Iceland is not as strong as the beautiful nose was hoping for and looks a bit too watery.
Finish
Joah, medium long. Somewhat dry, with spicy oak and noticeable smoke.
