It starts nicely sherried at first nosing, with classical flavours of nuts, dried fruits, marzipan, as well as fresh and juicy nectarines, peaches and tangerines. A quite intense peppery spiciness comes up quickly, but is buffered by sweet vanilla.
The taste again is dominated by these aggressive sherrywood notes, and the initial sweetness quickly turns into a dry and slender kind of character. In addition to all the noses flavours, which also do appear on the palate tobacco, autumn leaves and a quite intense citrus note.
The finish is not too long, a bit spicy and dull.
