The nose is all about sweet fruits (oranges, apricots, peaches, quinces), some spices and a lot of this adorable old bottle flavour (which stands for complexity). Very interesting to explore the historic aromas profile of this excellent distillery. Gentle arrival on the tongue with a bold, complex profile. Very fruity again and all imbedded in a nice, mellow wooden structure. Lots of different layers and waves of flavours charm your tastebuds. A dram to test how many aromas you are able to recognise and differentiate. The finish is of medium length (at the first sip rather short, but after that it gets longer and longer) and on very pleasant wooden notes in addition to the fruits and spices. Really delicious and it is simply unbelievable that this matured for 12 years only.
