  • Nose

     Fruity notes then appear: strawberry, apricot. Muscatel is present in the background, bringing sweetness and overripe fruit. The heart of this nice nose is all in minerality. On the top, chemical vapors.

  • Taste
    Full, oily, soft and round like all Caol Ila of the official range. More woody (white oak) than the nose, and more smoke too (hearth). The fruitiness persists, but more green (carambola).
  • Finish
    Medium but good persistence of the iodine-smoked character with traces of bitterness (carambola, sage, laurel among others).
