Bruichladdich 2011 Antique Lions 6 Year Old / Savannah
A unique and attractive bottling of super heavily-peated Bruichladdich (aka Octomore).
Distilled in 2011 and bottled 6 years later as part of the Savannah series for Antique Lions Of Spirits (ALOS). The labels are an homage to old Moon Import bottles, and feature lost plates by the same artist, discovered in Pepi Mongiardino's collections.
ALOS was recently formed as a collaborative project between renowned whisky enthusiast and collector, Jens Drewitz and two Italian whisky merchants: Max Righi of Whisky Antique, and Diego Sandrin of Lions Whisky. Their uncompromising passion for whisky is the drive behind their selection of these whiskies of equally uncompromised quality.
