Nose
First thing to strike me is the saltyness, not shoreline briney but more pure seawater. A little in the distance there's a stable. White table wine. Some wood and faint chocolate confectionary. Very vague peat.
Taste
Very bold, mineral and again salty.
Gentle spice, not hot but certainly warming.
Finish
Sweeter on the finish, but the salt lingers through.
Remarkably long.
