Colour: pale gold.
Nose: very old style, starting on a winning citrus-metal combo. A lot of lemon but also mangos and then soot, shoe polish, coal, pencil lead and beef stock… A blast from the past as far as the profile’s concerned. This kind of whisky doesn’t exist anymore.
Mouth: very antique indeed. Not really bold but there are the same resinous and sooty/waxy notes as on the nose, and the citrusy notes are here as well.
Finish: short, but clean and citrusy. Lemon juice.
