Nose: it smells like a young vibrant sherry at first, very fruity. A basket of dark fruits, red plum, black cherry , black currant, dark fruit jams, some wood.
There is also some coffee and cocoa notes.
Taste: it is smooth with some nice fruit but there is also some woody bitterness, it is also quite drying. There is a nice attack and some really good blackberry fruitiness coming through mixed in with dark bitter chocolate.
Finish: quite long, warming and increasing in sweetness.
