Nose: a fresh and light start that will turn more malty. It doesn't seem to hinder from the fact that it was so long bottled and now opened. Chocolate chip cookies and a breakfast of cereals with some fruit on the side.
Taste: a very malty and barley driven whisky. Still rich in the flavour it has. Caramels, cake and butter. Fresh.
Finish: still lots of grain. Woodspices and also some coffee with a good deal of sugar in it.
