WITH WATER: more cigar smoke on the nose with some honey and melon, it is what I would call rich.
The palate is very smooth and fruity now on orange, pear and honey. The smokiness has gone. Just lovely.
The finish is long but sweeter now with a few drops of water added.
Nose: refined peat, cigar smoke, brine, honeycomb.
Taste: quite refined, sweet, then slightly bitter and also a little syrupy but it is definitely good.
There is also a little tobacco, caramel, honey, treacle sponge cake.
Finish: quite long, warming and sweet, very moreish.
