A marvellous old bottle of Glenlivet 18 year old bottled for Italian importers Baretto at the old 80 proof (45.7%).
Nose: a rather thin and elegant nose. There is Vanilla, Herbs, Malt and light nose of dark fruits.
Taste: enters with a gentle and soft sweetness with clear sherry tones then slowly turning to a growing but plesant spiciness.
Finish: medium long finish, going from slowly fading spices to a light bitter ending.
