GLENKEITH
This was Chivas' experimental distillery for a number of years and the whisky itself has gone through a number of variations and changes. As a brand in its own right it hasn't seen much promotion and is quite under appreciated as a result today. A shame because Glen Keith can be a remarkably tasty dram. The character is often notably fruity with plenty luscious, textural green fruits and characterrs such as candied peel, citrus and malty sweetness. There are excellent bottlings from distillations in the 1960s, early 1970s and the early 1990s. Many are well worth trying if you come across them
