CRAIGELLACHIE
A curious distillery situated in the heart of Speyside and the famous eponymous village. Probably overshadowed a little by its famous neighbour Macallan. Nevertheless, Craigellachie produces a fine, elegant Speyside malt. Plenty green fruits, cereal and buttery notes make it appetising and very easy drinking. There are some aged examples by Cadenhead and G&M, although perhaps the most interestting are the ones bottled by the distillery itself in the past couple of years since they decided to properly promote it as a brand.
