  • Nose
    Starts quite malty. Cereal grain and porridge. Also mineral notes of wet stones and chalk. A little metalic. Soapy notes later on. Typical blenders whisky, never meant for single malt stardom.
  • Taste
    Wow, what a punch for 40%. More on citrus fruit now; lemon and lime. White grapes. Lots of gooseberries as well. Also greenhouse notes of cut grass, apple mint and barely sugar. Taste is much better than the nose.
  • Finish
    Medium long. hot and spicy with black pepper and some clove. Eucalyptus. Liquorice at the end.
