GLENBURGIE
malt which used to be more popular than it is today, especially in Italy thanks to some incredibly bottlings by Intertrade and G&M. Even today, amongst enthusiasts, Glenburgie has a high reputation. The distillery character matches beautifully with big, clean, classical sherry style. It is a full bodied malt with a natural earthy sinewy quality to the distillate. The best examples are generaally the 1960s distillations but later bottlings can also be fantastic and should never be overlooked.
